It is an alternative holiday, a chance to explore and invest in yourself through a daily practice of mindful movement and create awareness in your body and mind. At the same time, you will explore with us the rich culture of this ancient civilization, the warm hospitality and the amazing Cretan cuisine at its best!  Very often this can be a great opportunity to re-balance or even re-evaluate one’s life.

Cash is best but you can use your card if you wish. ATM machines are plentiful in the town.

Prior to your retreat, if you would like a Zoom chat or a telephone with Gill and Andreas, this can be arranged.

During the first two days, your excursions within your package unfold, but of course you can choose to rest.

Each day starts with Pilates at 8.30am followed by Breakfast/Brunch at 10.00am.

You have everything you need where you stay, a restaurant, bar, pool and quiet places to read; all in the most idyllic environment.

We supply all of the equipment you need so you don’t need to worry about bringing a mat or any props – unless you prefer to use your own.

Our Cretan home is adults only. As long as you are mobile, able to get up and down from the mat and with a young at heart attitude you are welcome.

Yes, this started out with just women, but over the years more men have been coming and this has led to them starting a regular practice at home.

Yes it’s perfectly fine to drink the tap water. If however you prefer bottled water, we take you on a supermarket run on the first day where you can pick up all your need.

Yes – you have a therapy with one of our excellent in-house therapists.

Yes, you have a mini cooker, fridge and a kettle with basic kitchen equipment.

Yes there is both a restaurant and a bar where we stay. They cook good, locally sourced Greek/Cretan fresh food with a great selection of wines and cocktails. You have a breakfast/brunch to enjoy daily which is part of your package.

If you are a single traveller then the single supplement applies. We tend to attract like-minded people and past clients often tell us of new friendships made.

Yes. Each and every room has a front row view of the sea – stunning.

The apartments have an open plan space with twin beds plus one bedroom with a double bed.

All have separate bathrooms with hydro shower, air conditioning, kettle, small oven, fridge, small dining area, terrace or balcony.  Wifi is free.

Your space has daily cleaning.

For private group bookings, we require a minimum of 6 people, and a maximum of 12.

Travel (3)

Yes but we are happy to advise you with flights. They tend to cost around £350 but sometimes a bargain can be had! Use Skyscanner alerts to stay updated. Your airport in Crete is Heraklion.

Yes – you do need to bring your EHIC card with you. If you don’t have one, you can easily apply at your local Post Office or online here: https://www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/startApplication.do

Its important to take out appropriate travel insurance for your needs. THIS IS ESSENTIAL.

Airport transfers are only included if you arrive at a specific day and time which will be discussed prior to you booking your flights. If you arrive at an alternative time of your choice, you will be responsible for organising your own transport to and from the resort at your own cost.

Tips are welcome and we suggest around 5-10%

There is plenty to do and see. Water sports, boat trips, museums, walking etc. You can also hire a car and explore the island.

Health (2)

That’s the beauty of having Gill and Andreas with you. They speak the language and their close friend, a doctor and homeopath, is on call. The local hospital is just a few minutes away.

No not at all, the chef at our studios/apartments will accommodate your needs. When dining out plenty of choices are available.

Yes, absolutely, Gill prides herself on her ability to multi level teach therefore this suits both beginners and those with a more experienced practice.
